My experience with K-9 Connections has been extremely positive. I rescued a two-year-old Goldendoodle with severe anxiety who was highly reactive to other dogs, people, and cars. Walking her had become nearly impossible.After just two weeks of training, the results have been astounding. Lauraine and AJ laid the foundation for a well-behaved, obedient dog and provided us with the tools and guidance needed to continue reinforcing good behavior at home. Throughout the process, they maintained excellent communication and continue to check in on our progress even after the training ended.I highly recommend their training services to anyone looking for highly compassionate, effective, and lasting results.

K9 Connections has been life changing for our puppy! She was a nervous girl and her personality is really coming out. She follows commands and is a very good girl. We love being able to connect via text message with any questions we have and we love that we have home sessions! Overall - we also love how kind and amazing the people are.

Height of Hope cannot thank K9 Connections enough. Their team took time to get to know our senior deaf dog and fielded so many of our questions before even agreeing to train him. They were realistic and totally transparent with us about Diesel’s potential to succeed. Diesel entered training, reactive to other dogs and very unsure of himself. After 3 weeks, he was co-existing peacefully with other dogs. K9 Connections created a Google photo folder to share daily photos and videos of his training while also communicating via text. They care and love their dogs so much! You can tell they are passionate and committed to their dogs as if they were their own. I cannot thank them enough! Thanks to their dedication, Diesel was adopted ;)

My husband and I were connected with K9 Connections through the rescue we were fostering with because we knew the dog we were fostering had so much potential to be incredible — we just lacked the knowledge and skills needed to help get him there. He was your typical teenage boy when we got him and needed guidance learning how to effectively communicate and boundaries.With the help of Lauraine and her team during a 1-week board & train program, we not only learned how to better communicate with him, but also worked on foundational obedience skills like “place,” “out,” and recall.Because of the K9 Connections team, we officially foster failed shortly after and gained a permanent new member of our family. The time, patience, kindness, and support this team has shown us, our dog, and so many other rescue dogs is truly unmatched.I genuinely cannot recommend Lauraine and the K9 Connections team enough!

I met with two other trainers before deciding to pick this facility and it was the best decision that I ever made. The trainers Lauraine and AJ are amazing and knowledgeable on everything. I started with the puppy classes and was able to see right away that they truly cared about making sure my pup Zeus was successful in his training and addressing any behavior issues. Zeus is reactive and they have helped me tremendously in giving him structure and also teaching me how to work with him. They are also a great resource to have in the case that you need future training or just advice on any behavioral issues. I would recommend them 100%!

Today was the last day of our five session training experience with AJ. Five stars for certain! My two little Boston terriers looked forward to going to school each week. They worked hard under the guidance of this amazing Trainer. I shocked at the improvements I have seen in such a short time. AJ was always kind and patient as well as very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!!

Lauraine and AJ are the best! Our 5 year old mastiff/american bulldog did a board and train to address problem behaviors like endless barking fits, going nuts when we leave and pulling on walks. The training has been super effective! We are equipped with commands which are supported by the ecollar - that combo has brought these problem behaviors under control. Also using a prong collar on walks which has been effective at curbing Duke pulling me. Proper order has been restored in our home! They also cared for Duke as if he were their pet, you can feel confident all around leaving your pet with them and investing in the training..

Lauraine and AJ are the best! We entrusted them with our girl for service dog training, and couldn’t be more proud that she is serving today thanks to them. During her training we received daily pupdates, lots pictures and videos and the communication was great!Since training they have remained available for us. Thank you so much!

K9 Connections is amazing. Our dog, who is 4 years old and was only potty trained, was in desperate need of real training. We couldn’t enjoy excursions and travel with our dog, or even our own home when guests came over. She was barking, jumping on people, lunging, pulling, and also afraid of her own shadow.AJ, Lauraine and the whole K9 Connections team understood her immediately and put a plan into action. We dropped our dog off for just over 2 weeks and she came back trained on various commands and had better behavior all around. We can enjoy our lives with her now. We got pictures and videos every day which helped us not miss her but the videos were also training for us so we see how we can help her behavior at home. AJ also did an in-home follow up where our whole family could get a refresher and ask questions specific to our home and layout and issues.They exceeded our expectations. Your dog will be well cared for and safe. They are very careful to keep dogs together in safe groups when socializing. We have also used K9 Connections for occasional boarding. Nisha misses you all!

Lorraine and AJ are incredible. My dog used to be reactive, and even taking her for a walk made me anxious. They worked with both of us, helping her manage her reactivity and teaching me how to handle it, so now I feel so much more confident. They’re also an amazing resource you can reach out to, like when I was fostering kittens and wanted to make sure i was setting good boundaries between the kittens and Sadie. And Sadie absolutely loves the pack walks!
